These terms apply to every cab booked with Khalsa Cab, through this website, WhatsApp or a phone call. Confirming a booking means you accept them.

Bookings

  • A booking is confirmed when the desk confirms the car and the fare to you on WhatsApp or by phone. Sending a request from the website does not by itself reserve a car.
  • Please give the correct pickup and drop addresses, date, time and number of passengers. Changes after confirmation can change the fare.
  • Cars are allocated by type. A particular model can be requested but depends on availability.

Fares

  • Fares on this website are estimates. The fare the desk confirms before your trip is the fare you pay, with the charges below added.
  • One way trips are charged on the distance at the one way rate for the car. There is no minimum distance and no driver allowance.
  • Round trips are charged on the distance both ways at the round trip rate, plus a driver allowance of ₹300 for each day.
  • Local hire is charged by package. Time or distance beyond the package is charged at the rate agreed when you booked.

Charges on top of the fare

  • Toll, state tax, permits and parking, wherever they apply to your route.
  • A night charge on one way pickups between 10 pm and 6 am.
  • Any detour or extra stop you ask for during the trip, at the same per kilometre rate.

Waiting

On round trips the driver waits as agreed. Waiting well beyond the plan may be charged, and the desk will tell you the amount before it applies. For airport pickups, give the flight number so the pickup can follow the actual landing time.

Payment

Pay the driver at the end of the trip by UPI, card or cash. For multi day hires and larger vehicles the desk may ask for part of the fare in advance, and will say so when it confirms.

Cancellation

Tell the desk as early as you can. If the car has not left for your pickup there is nothing to pay. If it has, any charge is agreed with you at the time.

Passengers and luggage

  • Passengers may not exceed the seats in the car booked.
  • Luggage travels free if it fits the car booked. Anything illegal or dangerous may not be carried.
  • Smoking and alcohol are not allowed in the cars. Damage caused by passengers may be charged.

Liability

We do our best to arrive and finish every trip on time. We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or other events outside our control. If a car breaks down, we send a replacement as quickly as we can. Please keep your belongings with you; we will always try to return anything left behind.
